So as promised, I released a game that is not a sequel. Survive is more of a tech demo to me, but it's gotten positive feedback and already has over 1200 views! The 3D world was very fun and new to make.
I've recently learned how to network my games so that two people on different computers can play together. It's pretty cool. I made a little demo of it with David (the artist for many of my games) and we got a basic version of survival working in co-op.
Ludum Dare is coming up next weekend and I plan on entering. It won't be as fun as last year when we made Stricken Chicken, since I'll be working alone, but I feel like my game development skills are good enough for me to make something really cool in the short period of time. I might even make it in 3D :)
